Growing up in Sandy, Utah, Mary Nuttall at the age of ten began a serious study of ballet at Jacqueline’s School of Ballet. Mary attended Regional Dance America where she was an honor student and was awarded scholarships to RDA's Choreography Conference five times and the International Ballet Competition’s School twice. She was a selected participant for Prix de Lausanne and a finalist at Youth America Grand Prix where she was awarded scholarships to John Cranko School in Stuttgart Germany and National Ballet of Canada’s Ballet School in Toronto, Canada. She attended the John Cranko School as well as Netherlands Dance Theater training programs. Mary joined Utah Regional Ballet in 2009. She has toured Europe with URB and has performed many roles including White Swan, Sugar Plum Fairy and Ucanogos. Mary's Choreography has been performed at Regional Dance America, Utah Valley University and in Utah Regional Ballet’s Choreography Design Concert where she was awarded first place in the professional division. Mary has her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance with an Emphasis in Ballet from Utah Valley University and has been teaching at Jacqueline’s School of Ballet for four years.
