Colin Hathaway

Colin Hathaway started his ballet training at the age of 13 when he attended Canada's National Ballet School's (NBS) Professional Program on scholarship. At NBS Colin was able to perform with the world renowned ballet company Canada's National Ballet as well as receive training from teachers from across the globe. After graduation, Colin attended Canada's National Ballet School's Teacher Training Program (TTP). From the TTP Colin followed his love of dance onto the stage by taking part at YAGP at which he won third. At YAGP, Colin was scouted by the Artistic Director of Ballet West, Adam Sklute, to join the company as a trainee on full scholarship. During his time as a trainee Colin has guested internationally as a leading dancer including historical Baroque ballet, numerous princes and being selected by the Balanchine Trust for the leading roles in "Serenade". In his time with Utah Regional Ballet Colin has preformed leading roles including Oberon, Nutcracker Cavalier, The Huntsman, Prince Desiree and "Elegy Boy". Colin is in his second year as Principle Artist with Utah Regional Ballet.
